Easily and cheaply accessible from the International Airport by tram and only 3 stops away from all the main tourist sites (Aghia Sophia, The Blue Mosque etc.) Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean. The pool was open all day and into the evening and was also clean. Highly recommend!''

(+) ''We were lucky to have a room on the top floor overlooking the Marmara Sea in the distance which made it great to have an evening snack looking at the view. The pool was good to come back to each afternoon. Breakfast had a good variety and because we had never been to Turkey the variety was also interesting. We had 2 meals at the roof top bar/restaurant, both very good. The tram station to Sultanahmet and the Galata ''Bridge was a 5 minute walk, we used this quite a few times. Staff were friendly. Would highly recommend the hotel but ask for a room on the 5th floor overlooking the Marmara Sea side.''

(+) ''Laleli Gonen hotel is a lovely hotel, with very good staff, the rooms are very clean , and their breakfast is really good with a wide variety to choose from. The location is convenient yet nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the tramway and the major wholesale shopping area and the grand bazar is only minutes away. This was my second time and I love it, will definitely stay there again. My flight on my last day was departing after 6pm and they allowed me to check out late till 3pm without a fuss or any extra charge.''

(+) ''Honestly, I only booked this hotel cuz of the location & people's reviews .. Yet, it wasn't as expected! I just wanna be fair to those who will view it & think of booking at this hotel .. The breakfast is fine, yet the same everyday .. I wasn't picky, but some people might be so .. The bed is comfortable, & if you go in winter time, there is heater in the room .. Hot water is available all the time, which was great :) .. The location was close to a grocery store, many restaurants, shopping areas, & tram stations .. Plus, it's a walking distance to many touristic areas, if you don't mind walking for 20-30 minutes .. The hotel was under renovation when we visited, & it wasn't mentioned anywhere in this site! It was a bit annoying .. The hotel is not really fancy, it's ok if you're looking for a place to sleep, shower, have a quick bite & spend your whole day outside exploring the city .. The staff are nice, yet not all of them speak English, which was a bit weird!''

(+) ''I have arrived to Laleli Gonen on the 31st Dec. , the hotel was fully booked, i have noticed that The staff were cooperative and the breakfast was rich which contains almost everything,the manager Mr. Ihasn was very helpful in solving any issues which might face the guests,i have had a problem with the internet so i informed Mr.Ihasan and i surprised when next day he came with an IT to fix the problem...it was a very positive action from his side...Thanks ...The price and the location were very good...Finally i strongly recommend the hotel for families and for solo travelers as well.''
